The Story Behind CV’s RAP Artwork: Growth Comes From Moving Forward Together
Reconciliation is an ongoing journey at CV – one grounded in learning, respect and meaningful action.
As part of this journey, we partnered with the late Leah Cummins, a proud Mayi-Kulan and Kalkadoon woman, to create the artwork for our Reconciliation Action Plan. We are proud to continue building on this foundation as we strengthen relationships and deepen understanding with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
In this video, Leah shares the meaning behind the artwork and how it reflects CV’s commitment to reconciliation – with our people at the heart, guided by our values and united in moving forward together.
As our reconciliation journey continues, we are currently developing our second Reconciliation Action Plan – an important milestone that builds on the commitments already underway and reinforces our long-term focus on meaningful change.
In memory of Leah Cummins, whose artwork will always be part of CV’s reconciliation story.
We respectfully advise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers that this video contains images, names and voices of a person who has passed away. These are shared with love and with the permission of the family.
