Tantivy Pump Station

We’re excited to share the successful commissioning of the Tantivy Pump Station – a critical infrastructure upgrade for one of Brisbane’s major utility providers, delivered in partnership with Downer.

This achievement also marks another successful collaboration with PT Automation Solutions, finalised just as Tropical Cyclone Alfred approached – highlighting the pump station’s vital role in maintaining operations under challenging conditions.

A huge congratulations to the CV Industrial team, whose dedication and hard work made this possible. The team overcame a number of complex challenges to reach this milestone – a clear reflection of their capability and commitment to excellence throughout the project.

This success wouldn’t have been possible without the collaborative efforts of all involved and we’re incredibly grateful to the PTAS team for their expertise and strong partnership.

We look forward to seeing the continued impact of this important project!

UDIA National Awards for Excellence 2025 & UQ Women in Engineering Breakfast

CV was proud to attend two recent standout events – the UDIA National Awards for Excellence 2025 and the UQ Women in Engineering Breakfast.

The UDIA National Awards for Excellence brought together leaders from across the country to celebrate the projects and people shaping Australia’s urban development landscape. It was a great opportunity to recognise outstanding achievements in design, sustainability and community impact, and to connect with others who are shaping the future of our industry.

At the UQ Women in Engineering Breakfast, we were inspired by the next generation of engineers and the incredible women paving the way in a traditionally male-dominated field. The conversations were energising – focused on mentoring, representation and the future of engineering through a more inclusive lens.

Thank you to both UDIA and UQ for hosting such meaningful events that celebrate innovation, excellence and progress.

Brisbane Airport Corporation Chiller Replacement

CV’s HVAC and Electrical maintenance teams have delivered another outstanding result – completing a chilled water system replacement at a Brisbane Airport Corporation building near DFO.

The project involved upgrading to a new 180kW Carrier chiller, boosting capacity while reducing the overall footprint. A standout moment was the complex crane lift, which required precise coordination to manoeuvre the unit around a corner and between tight clearances near a large tree.

This job was a great example of skilled planning, strong collaboration and safe execution.

A big thank you to everyone involved:
