Toowoomba City Library
The new Toowoomba City Library is a state of the art facility that will facilitate an array of community groups and activities. With the inclusion of the cities main library collection, meeting rooms, seminar spaces, multi purpose IT and training facilities, an immunisation clinic and a large civic square, the library upgrade provides the best facilities for the growing city.
CV was contracted by Hutchinson Builders to deliver the internal and external design and construct of the:
- electrical
- communications
- security
- lighting protection system, and
- solar system
The job required strict scheduling to adhere to the construction timeline and open communications to ensure efficiency amongst the CV team, Hutchinsons and other sub contractors. With over 19 km of cable installed and 1200 light fittings, the team of 8 electrical contractors delivered the works on time and to the highest quality.
