Commonwealth Games: Parklands
The Commonwealth Games site at Parklands is currently under construction in preparation for the 2018 event.
CV Services Group was contracted by BMD urban to complete the High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) network, street lighting systems and communications network for the Athletes village. The Electrical Infrastructure team is in the process of delivering a full civil and electrical solution for the 29 hectare site.
Across the duration of the 8 months, the team will install:
- 6 km of HV cable
- 12 Transformers
- 115 streetlights
- 4 sets of traffic signals
Throughout the project there has consistently been 20 team members on site.
