Queensland Rail Accessibility Upgrades
Project Overview
As part of its ongoing commitment to improving accessibility across the South East Queensland rail network, Queensland Rail undertook upgrade works at Thomas Street, Wulkuraka and Geebung stations to better support passengers and meet accessibility objectives outlined under relevant state and federal legislation.
CV was engaged to deliver critical electrical infrastructure works supporting these station upgrades. Working within live rail environments, the team successfully managed complex staging requirements, restricted site access, day and night shift operations, and stringent Queensland Rail technical and safety requirements. Through detailed planning and coordination, CV delivered the upgrades safely, on schedule and within budget.
