Brisbane Airport – Dryandra Road Underpass
Project Overview
The Dryandra Road Underpass formed a critical component of Brisbane Airport’s major expansion program, supporting the delivery of the new parallel runway and associated airside infrastructure. Located beneath the future aircraft taxiway, the underpass provides a vital transport link between the Domestic Terminal and the airport’s northern precinct while enabling aircraft to taxi safely overhead.
CV delivered the electrical and communications infrastructure required to support the operation, safety and reliability of this strategically important asset. The project demanded robust, high-performance systems capable of operating within one of Australia’s busiest aviation environments and supporting infrastructure designed to withstand aircraft loads of up to 710 tonnes.
