MS Brissie to the Bay

Congratulations to the CV team who participated in the MS Brissie to the Bay 50km bike ride on Sunday!

The team geared up and pushed through the challenge, achieving personal milestones while also contributing to a vital cause.

We are immensely proud to help raise funds to support MS Queensland and their incredible work in helping those living with MS, one of the most common and challenging diseases of the central nervous system.

Vinnies CEO Sleepout

CV is proud to announce that our Chief Operating Officer, Mushfiq Rahman, is participating in the 2024 Vinnies CEO Sleepout!

This marks Mushfiq’s third consecutive year joining this meaningful event. In just two weeks, he will be braving one of the longest and coldest nights of the year alongside hundreds of business and community leaders, all united to support the many Australians experiencing homelessness and those at risk of becoming homeless.

The funds raised by the Vinnies CEO Sleepout provide crucial support and services, including food, accommodation and essential services to those in need. Well done to Mushfiq for his dedication and commitment to making a difference!

Australian Energy Producers Conference & Exhibition

The CV team had an incredible time at the Australian Energy Producers Conference & Exhibition! It was truly inspiring to see so many industry leaders come together to discuss and shape the future of Australia’s energy landscape.

Congratulations to Erik Vandenberg, General Manager of our Asset Services business, for delivering an insightful presentation at the engineering forum. Erik’s expertise on asset management and risk-based process safety management approaches was well-received and sparked engaging discussions on tackling the energy trilemma.

Tony Mills – 35 Years

It’s not every day that a team member reaches a milestone as significant as this! A massive congratulations to Tony Mills from our Electrical Construction team for reaching an incredible 35 years with CV!

As our longest-serving team member, Tony’s experience is unmatched and he is a wealth of knowledge for his team. Throughout his tenure, Tony has contributed significantly to our projects and has been part of some of the biggest we have completed.

We look forward to continue seeing Tony’s invaluable contributions for many years to come!

We’re thrilled to share that Lachlan Braunlein, Senior Design Project Manager from our CV Infrastructure Services team, recently delivered a guest lecture at the University of Queensland sharing his extensive real-world project management experience with students.

Gallagher Security Golf Day

A hole in one for charity! Our Asset Services team recently teed off at Gallagher Security’s Golf Day, swinging for a cause close to our hearts. The day was in support of Bravehearts, a charity organisation dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.

Big thanks to the Gallagher team for hosting such a fantastic event, where every putt and swing contributed to making a real difference in the lives of children in need.

With over 30 years of experience in financial and management accounting, Simon brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. His background spans more than 25 years within leading Australian and multinational corporations across diverse sectors including resources, utilities, infrastructure, food and beverage, and professional services.

Simon’s collaborative approach to driving continuous business improvement is poised to elevate operational results and foster ongoing growth within the business.

CV Scholarships 2024

CV is excited to announce that we are providing scholarships for two exceptional Year 11 students to study a Certificate II in Electrotechnology at the Sunshine Coast Technical Trade Training Centre.

Congratulations to Abbey Wells from Beerwah State High School and Sam Neale from Caloundra State High School for being selected as the recipients of our 2024 Scholarships!

Abbey, awarded the CV Women in Construction Scholarship, is passionate about pursuing electrical engineering and is eager to work in any facet of the electrical and engineering industry.

Sam, the recipient of the CV Scholarship, is focused on becoming a qualified electrician, with aspirations of venturing into electrical engineering in the future.

CV is passionate about developing the next generation of tradespeople and can’t wait to witness Abbey and Sam’s growth and achievements throughout their apprenticeships!
