Asset Services – 1H Team Brief

CV is thrilled to share highlights from our recent 1H Team Brief with our Asset Services team! Our dedicated multi-trade team started the day with a hearty breakfast, then received vital updates from our leadership team including Managing Director Andrew McMaster, Chief Operating Officer Mushfiq Rahman and Asset Services General Manager Erik Vandenberg. There was big emphasis on the team’s health, safety and wellbeing, with insights on preventing injuries and safe driving.

The Team Brief wrapped up with the exciting launch of the “Extra Mile” Campaign, empowering our talented Asset Services team to identify opportunities for customer success. Kudos to Brad Griffiths, Matt O’Connor and Trent Riddell for their outstanding contributions – they’ve earned gift vouchers for going the extra mile for our valued customers!

Wishlist House

Last week, CV’s Electrical Construction Sunshine Coast Housing management team proudly donned their work shirts, laced up their boots and jumped back on the tools for the day to lend a helping hand to a worthwhile cause!

We teamed up with Wishlist and Ausmar to help construct a new home in Gympie, with proceeds from its sale dedicated to supporting patients and families at Gympie Hospital.

Our CV Housing team donated their time to complete the electrical rough-in for this special project, marking the fourth Wishlist house we’ve contributed to.

Being part of initiatives like this reaffirms our commitment not just to quality construction but to giving back to the community. A big shoutout to everyone involved – we’re honoured to be among the businesses making this project a reality!

International Women’s Day 2024

CV is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day and extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the remarkable women who contribute immensely to our company’s success. We are incredibly fortunate to have you as part of the CV team!

This year’s theme, “Inspire Inclusion,” holds particular significance for us as we operate in sectors that have historically experienced low levels of female representation. We firmly believe that fostering an environment where women feel inspired to participate is fundamental to creating a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, CV actively participated in various events and initiatives:

‍♀️ International Women’s Day Fun Run: Over the weekend, a team of enthusiastic CV members took part in the International Women’s Day Fun Run to support women battling breast cancer. We are proud to have contributed to the incredible $1.78 million that was raised for this vital cause.

‍♀️ NAWIC International Women’s Day Lunch: CV hosted a table at the NAWIC International Women’s Day Lunch, bringing together representatives from across our businesses. This event not only celebrated women in construction but also provided a platform to address pertinent issues facing women while supporting various charities.

Women in Manufacturing Breakfast: Our Media & Signage team proudly attended Queensland’s 50th Women in Manufacturing Breakfast which highlighted the significant contributions of women in non-traditional trades. We are lucky to have such talented women working in our signage manufacturing facility!

✈️ Women in Aviation Breakfast: Members of our Asset Services team attended a special event at Brisbane Airport to celebrate women in the aviation industry. The team was honored to hear from Deborah Lawrie AM who piloted the Virgin Australia International Women’s Day flight where every role on the ground and in the air was managed by women. As Australia’s first female pilot for a major airline, her journey continues to inspire future generations of women in aviation.

On behalf of CV, we extend our sincerest appreciation to all the incredible women within our organisation and beyond. Your passion, talent and dedication enrich our workplace every day and we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone thrives.
