CV’s Industrial team recently completed a significant upgrade to one of our client’s meat processing facilities.

CV delivered the electrical installation including:

• General lighting and power installation
• In ceiling cable tray and cable containment
• Cabling for the control and automation
• Field terminations and testing of both electrical, and control and automation
• Commissioning assistance

With the project requiring an around the clock shutdown across multiple days, the CV team did an outstanding job responding to operational pressures and meeting all the required deadlines. Well done, team!

CV recently visited Bray Park State High School for their 2022 Careers Day. Our team had a great time meeting students, were thrilled to be part of the panels and have the opportunity to speak to students looking to begin a career in the trades industry. We can’t wait to welcome the next generation of tradespeople to the CV team!

Congratulations to the Electrical Construction team on reaching a project milestone at Perry House in Bowen Hills – it’s great to see one of our Apprentices in action on the forklift!

CV joined over 100 representatives from the building and construction industry at the MATES in Construction breakfast. We are proud to have endorsed the Blueprint for Better Mental Health & Suicide Prevention and were excited to share experiences of workplace mental health initiatives with fellow attendees to further build upon this important framework.

CV is proud to have been awarded the Gloucester Reservoir and Associated Mains Electrical Package. The project involves the construction of a new 7ML Reservoir and 0.5ML elevated reservoir adjacent to the existing Cemetery Rd Reservoir in Gloucester NSW.

Key works that CV’s Industrial team is delivering for the project include:

• Construction of the new pump station, reservoirs and chlorine building
• Site wide lighting and general power
• Control System design and implementation
• New MSB/MCC for the electrical supply and control of the new lift pumps, jet mixer pumps and chlorine boosting system
• New backup generator

Our Infrastructure Services team is hard at work on site at Stockland Aura. The team is currently getting new traffic signals up and running as the new development continues to take shape.

CV’s Industrial team has partnered with FB Contracting to deliver the upgrade of Urraween Pump Station.

The project includes the upgrade of the existing pumps and pipework as well as the addition of new infrastructure to the Urraween Reservoir site to improve the efficiency and performance of the trunk water supply system to Hervey Bay.

Key works that CV is delivering for the project include:

• Construction of a new booster pump station
• Construction of a new Sodium Hypochlorite storage and dosing facility
• Renewal and upgrade of the existing electrical and controls switchboards to provide a centralised unit which will supply and control the existing pump station as well as the new infrastructure on site
• Control system design and implementation including PLC coding and SCADA pages

Stockland Aura has welcomed several new sporting facilities including Baringa Sports Complex, home to the Baringa Football Club, and Nirimba Sports Complex, home to the Aura Netball Team, Rugby League Club and Cricket Club.

CV’s Infrastructure Services team was proud to complete all the electrical infrastructure for these community staples, including the sports field lighting and switchboards.
