New Crane Truck

CV has welcomed an exciting new piece of equipment – a brand new crane truck! The truck has already completed its first job for the Infrastructure Services team standing streetlight poles for the Minnippi Golf Course project.

QR Central Station – Escalator Removal Timelapse

CV’s Electrical Construction team played a key role in the replacement of the outer concourse escalators at Central Station, one of Queensland Rail’s busiest stations.

With the escalators weighing 25 tonnes each, their removal was an challenging task which required a 300 tonne crane and two 55 tonne cranes to perform the lift.

Brighton Health Campus

CV’s Asset Services team is currently performing an upgrade to the Nurse Call System at the Brighton Health Campus. Spanning three patient treatment buildings, the new system will enable staff to provide patients with an even higher level of care.

Delta Hope Island

Delta Hope Island continues to progress well with CV’s Electrical Construction team on site performing electrical works! Over a two week period the team installed 50 street lights and landed three 316 stainless powder coated meter panels on-site, all while continuing to progress the pit and pipe works.

Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal

CV is proud to be supporting the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal again this year and donating gifts to those in need. Thank you to the CV team for your incredible generosity and helping to spread joy this Christmas.

The Conduit Edition 15

CV COVID-19 vaccination competition winners

Congratulations to the winners of CV’s COVID-19 vaccination competition!

David Dryden from the Electrical Construction team and Bruce Peters from the Asset Services team both won a $5,000 travel voucher as a result of CV’s competition to encourage our team to get vaccinated.

Fibre & Communications NBN works

On the weekend CV’s Fibre and Communications team attended their first outage callout for NBN works (via Service Stream). Approximately 4,000 customers in Hamilton lost NBN service as a result damage to the network by a civil excavator. The team respliced about 960 fibres and had all clients back online by midday on Sunday.
