Queensland Ballet Thomas Dixon Centre
Project Overview
The Queensland Ballet’s historic Thomas Dixon Centre in Brisbane’s West End underwent a major refurbishment, including a three-storey expansion designed to provide additional rehearsal and performance spaces. Originally built in 1908 and home to the Queensland Ballet since 1991, the redevelopment required electrical infrastructure capable of servicing both the existing heritage building and the expanded facilities. CV partnered with Hansen Yuncken to deliver a turnkey Large Customer Connection (LCC) package. Working closely with Energex, CV progressed the design and installation of an indoor substation and associated infrastructure while coordinating the works with five other Energex projects occurring in the surrounding area.
