Project Overview

CV was engaged to design and construct the electrical infrastructure and sports field lighting for the new Nirimba Sports Complex. Supporting the growth of the Aura community, the project delivered lighting and power infrastructure across a one-hectare sporting precinct featuring four netball courts, four rugby fields, a clubhouse, irrigation facilities and extensive visitor parking.

The project required a coordinated design-and-construct approach to provide reliable, high-performance lighting solutions that enable safe community use of the sporting facilities while supporting the long-term operational needs of the precinct.

Scope of Works

CV delivered end-to-end design and construction services for the sports field lighting, power distribution and external lighting infrastructure across the precinct. The project encompassed detailed electrical design, installation of power distribution assets and delivery of lighting solutions for sporting, pedestrian and parking areas.

Key deliverables:

  • Detailed electrical design for the site.
  • Installation of one main switchboard and one distribution board.
  • Supply and installation of a pad-mounted transformer (PMT) for site power.
  • Installation of 2 x 20m and 2 x 25m lighting poles servicing the rugby fields.
  • Installation of 2 x 15m lighting poles servicing the netball courts.
  • Construction of approximately 1.2km of conduit infrastructure.
  • Installation of 37 lights for car park and pathway illumination.
