Project Overview

The Carseldine Sport & Recreation Precinct was developed to address a need for additional sporting facilities within the new Carseldine Urban Village. Spanning 2.6 hectares, the precinct delivered new sporting and community infrastructure aligned with the needs of Economic Development Queensland and the broader local community. The completed precinct incorporated two tennis courts, two netball courts, three rectangular multi-purpose fields plus an oval, two cricket nets, three clubhouses and 600 car parks. As part of the broader development, CV was engaged to deliver the electrical infrastructure associated with the new roads servicing the precinct.

  • Supported significant new sporting capacity – The completed precinct introduced multiple tennis, netball, cricket and multi-purpose sporting facilities, together with three clubhouses and parking for 600 vehicles, responding to identified sporting infrastructure needs within Carseldine Urban Village.
  • Delivered infrastructure at scale – The installation of 4.7 km of conduit and 4.8 km of combined HV and LV cable created substantial electrical infrastructure to support the precinct and associated road network.
  • Improved road functionality and connectivity – New street lighting infrastructure and a traffic signal intersection formed part of the electrical works supporting the precinct’s new roads.
  • Contributed to long-term community use – The works formed part of a broader development delivering much-needed upgraded facilities for local sporting clubs and the wider community.

The CV Difference
