Located in South Brisbane, Queensland Children’s Hospital is the only specialist children’s hospital in Queensland and is Australia’s largest specialist provider of paediatric healthcare for children. Being the only facility of its kind in Queensland, the hospital has embedded multiple engineered redundancy systems to enable an uninterrupted level of operational readiness to be achieved.

Asset Services provides Queensland Children’s Hospital with planned preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance services across electrical (LV & HV) and hydraulics works.

• The requirement for the highest level of operational readiness with the centre providing services 24/7
• Working within the public arena
• Working within sterile areas
• Working within a 24/7 operational arena
• Providing redundancy planning and role back planning

At Queensland Children’s Hospital, Asset Services is responsible for:

• Maintaining an onsite presence to perform preventative and reactive maintenance
• Providing onsite support to maintain QFMS asset data base
• Providing detailed workplans for each work request
• Performing risk analysis on disruptive works
• Achieving set KPIs based around budgeting and timely delivery
