JBS Australia is the largest meat processing company in Australia and is part of JBS, the largest animal protein processing company in the world. For over 20 years, JBS Australia has been operating as meat packer, marketer and exporter, now exporting to more than 80 countries worldwide. The company ensures they purchase the best livestock in Australia with a key focus on food safety, animal welfare, product quality and customer service. With ten processing facilities and five feedlots across the country, JBS is able to process more than 8,000 cattle and 21,000 small stock a day.

For JBS Australia’s new Queensland office, the CV team delivered the electrical installation, including:

• An Energex 500kVA pole mounted transformer feeding a Main Switchboard
• Distribution boards including UPS (uninterruptible power supply) distribution systems which allow for an uninterruptible power supply to computer equipment
• A master controlled lighting system including motion sensor lighting for the meeting rooms and open plan office
