Aura is Australia’s largest master-planned community and is continuing to grow with the addition of new housing, business and retail centres, and education and community facilities. Home to Civic Square, Baringa is Aura’s first suburb which, when complete, will feature 1,585 homes, two schools and a childcare centre, shopping and dining facilities, two community centres, sports fields and community clubhouse, a range of local parks and playgrounds, ten hectares of recreational parkland, and a network of pathways and cycleways.

Civic Square provides a community space for Aura’s growing number of residents, catering to families with park tables and green spaces, as well as to teenagers with a skate park. The square is able to host markets with facilities for stalls and food trucks to operate, and also has a small stage area for bands to play.

The CV Electrical Construction team delivered the architectural RGB lighting throughout the town centre and skate park. The fully pre-programmed lighting control corresponds with world and local events throughout the year. This allows the square to be showered in event-themed colours including red and green for Christmas, and green and yellow for Australia Day.
