How do you install a switchboard that weighs 2.8 tonnes? The answer is teamwork – 2.8 tonnes of teamwork!

Our Electrical Construction team showed how as they worked safely together on the challenging task of moving and positioning the switchboard for the new Redcliffe Hospital Carpark.

Our annual team briefs are looking a bit different this year! With being COVID Safe top of mind, our Media & Signage team based at our Hendra office and factory opted for an alfresco style presentation and BBQ lunch with plenty of social distancing.

Congratulations to Tom Vo, Electrical Construction Project Manager, on reaching 15 years with CV! To celebrate this milestone, Tom was able to do the ceremonial move of his plaque to the 15 year board on our tenure wall which recognises all our long-serving team members.

Safety Award

Well done to Pete Sippel from our Electrical Construction team! Pete received a safety award from FKG for his work on the new Palmview State Primary School and Special School. Thanks for your commitment to safety, Pete, we’re glad to have you as part of our team!

LGI Canberra

Canberra’s Mugga Lane tip is now home to a new landfill gas-to-energy station, able to capture methane gas and convert this into usable energy. Our Infrastructure Services team were proud to work with LGI on the project which has the potential to power 5,370 homes each year, more than 1,000 extra homes than the previous station.

Panorama Apartments

Panorama Apartments has its name for a reason! Our Electrical Construction team are enjoying the stunning views of Brisbane River from the new apartment building recently topping out at 29 storeys.
