Project Overview

CV delivered a fire protection infrastructure upgrade at the Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) for Redland City Council, enhancing critical safety systems within a live operational venue. The project integrated new hydrant, sprinkler and fire pump infrastructure with supporting civil and electrical works, addressing compliance requirements while minimising disruption and overcoming complex site conditions.

Scope of Works

The project encompassed the design, construction, installation and commissioning of a fully integrated fire protection system, supported by associated civil, electrical and reinstatement works.

Key deliverables:

  • Underground fire main installation across the RPAC site
  • Hydrant and sprinkler infrastructure construction and integration
  • Fire water storage tank supply and installation
  • Diesel fire pump and jockey pump system installation and commissioning
  • Electrical supply integration from existing Council infrastructure
  • Civil works delivery including trenching, excavation and service coordination
  • Traffic and pedestrian management implementation
  • Temporary site establishment and live environment staging
  • Site reinstatement and final restoration works
  • System testing, commissioning and certification in line with Australian Standards
  • Handover documentation development including as-built drawings, O&M manuals
    and compliance certificates
